Managing Director / Sales Director (Sales and Service) - Korea

Our client is a worldwide leading manufacturer of standard and custom-made valve, pressure controller, electric controller and measurement equipments. They have companies and subsidiaries all over the world. To further develop the sales in Korea, we are looking for an experienced sales manager to be the Managing Director Korea, located near Seoul.

Responsibilities:
  • Report to the HQ in Europe and keep close contact/relationship with the HQ
  • General responsibilities for the sales and service in Korea.
  • Building and leading a small team
  • Developing his own strategy and operational tactics
  • Developing the new markets and finding new customers
  • Finding out the customers? needs and the solutions of problems
  • Providing the quick service and solutions for customers and keeping long term relationship with customers
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree, ideally in Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic or comparable engineering studies, ideally with an additional commercial or business study
  • Good Knowledge of process automation, electronical and pneumatical devices
  • Some Knowledge of chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, petrochemical plants, oil- and gas industries, heating, ventilation, air condition industries
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in industrial companies with technical products and in B to B business

Our Client is a German manufacturer of chemical products for sealing and bonding systems and surface treatment with global presence around the world. They are currently establishing a production plant in Jingjun Industrial Park (10 Min to Lanfang, 40 Min to Beijing and Tianjin) and looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead and manage the factory.

Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Board of Directors and German HQ
  • Responsible for the overall management of a small (up to 10 employees) chemical factory including production, delivery, purchasing, quality control, imports and exports, processing of orders, local sales
  • Overall responsibility for production and delivery in time at specified quality
  • Coordinating and controlling the production process
  • Communicating with German HQ and implementation of new formula/new products
  • Auditor of quality control
  • Handling of complains
  • Technical advisor for customers of local produced products
  • Documentation of Finance and Accounting System and cooperation with external auditor
